I had an epidural injection in my spine in my neck today. Anyone ever had a spinal epidural (for herniation or spinal damage)? How did it work for you?

The only epidurals I ever had was when I was in labor with my first kids. I was given too much and was numb from my shoulders to my knees for 2 days. The worst part was my ass was tingly for at least 6 months
But I digress

I only had epidurals for my babies’ births as they were both C-sections. I didn’t have any issues either time that I know of. There’s just one little thing I can think of with my first. Supposedly they left the catheter in with a pump I could control in case I had pain. It came out on its own, so even if I wanted to pump some pain killers in there, it was out. I wasn’t in that much pain so it really wasn’t an issue for me.
