What do you do when either of your cars are in the shop? Walk?

I mean it's not a trick question.Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 9:08 amHow would that cover family and friends?leadfoot40 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 9:06 amOlioxenfree wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 5:00 pm My husband and I have a combined insurance policy, so this is not an issue.

My husband and I drive each other’s cars when the need arises. He has a Civic and I have a CRV. Occasionally he will use my car if he has to pick up something big or if his is in the shop and I don’t need it. And vis versa. I can’t imagine being so rigid. The only thing that annoys me is that he doesn’t put my seat back the way it was. And when my DD first got her Iicense, she drove my car part of the time until she got her own car.
And in 35 years of owning a car, I have never had someone ask to borrow my car. Maybe I just know responsible people.

Damn, how long do your inspections take.?
I don't let my hisband drive my car because I don't like driving in a trash bin. He is NEVER allowed to drive my car. He is damn lucky to ever ride in my car. Most times I make him drive seperatelyThat'swhatshesaid wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 8:26 am I'm late to claim anon 2 but I can't imagine not letting my husband drive my car. Some of you have some really strange relationships but whatever.

Ours can take a couple of days depending on how busy the mechanic is and if it needs any work.
