I just spent $822.77 on......
My kids don't care that they're Christmas patterned since they're just jammies they wear them all year. I love photography so I prefer the kids to be in clean jammies that properly fit for Christmas morning. A lot of their jammies are a disaster and it just makes it so much better. Besides they can use a new pair anyways so I can get rid of some too small ones.Olioxenfree wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 2:57 pmI never have and likely never will understand Christmas pajamas in general, let alone expensive ones. What is this fascination on buying a new pair of clothes every year to sleep in that are patterned so you can only wear them a few days a year? Kids get enough gifts Christmas morning, what's with giving them gift packages the night before? People of course can do what they want with their kids, I just don't get it.Fullxbusymom wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 2:46 pm I can't even imagine wearing PJ's never mind spending almost a thousand dollars on them.

I can answer why, lol. My kids and husband have their beloved bedtime clothes. Not all of them are flattering or picture quality, and since we take a lot of photos Christmas morning and we don't want to have to send people back to get in better clothes, we started the tradition of giving a new set of PJs on Christmas Eve. Now, we have never done Christmas themed PJs, just some whatever they like given to them Christmas Eve. Last year my youngest got a Stitch onesie that she adores and wears all the time. We are thinking of getting her a panda one this year.

You did!
We are also taking the PJ group to see The Lightening Thief on Broadway. Those tickets were substantially more expensive than the PJs. Do you think that’s a waste of money too since it’s a 2-3 hour show and they’ll have nothing at the end of it?Olioxenfree wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 2:54 pmI'd be grateful for whatever I got, I am not a gift grabber, but if someone got me $74 Christmas pajamas I'd think on the inside WTF? Why not spend that money on something that actually useful?Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 12:14 pmYes, yes it is. But they’re nice PJs and we won’t do other gifts for the adults except cookies and candy.

Are you all going in your matching pajamas? You hopefully know that a Broadway show is different than a pair of pajamas...Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 4:03 pmWe are also taking the PJ group to see The Lightening Thief on Broadway. Man you fell into the "brand name" trap hard. Most of their stuff is produced in China which means it's overpriced and likely of a cheap quality too. A bunch of bored rich kids opened a business and outsourced their manufacturing to China and you fell hard for the "rich" status symbol.Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 3:51 pmhttps://www.vineyardvines.com/gift-guide-lounge-shop/
I ordered them online.
Gucci is a “rich” status symbol. Vineyard Vines is really no different than J Crew - a middle market retailer.Baconqueen13 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 4:06 pmMan you fell into the "brand name" trap hard.
