That they have issues and I don’t want to be people who have issues with forming healthy relationships.

I was thinking more along the lines of a partner vs family member. If it's someone I'm dating, I seriously consider whether or not I want to continue dating the person.
If it's just someone I know, I keep it in mind.

I'd distance myself. In my personal experience, nearly every person I've known who has said something like that, it's because they are untrustworthy and they're projecting. I don't play those games.
