We had turkey, ham, potatoes, gravy and other stuff that I can't remember because I'm Canadian and we had ours last month.

Idk yet. My DH wants to host, me, not so much. So I am hoping to be cooking a side only, lol.

I'd tell him he's cooking if he insists on hosting.
The oranges of the island are like blazing fire
Amongst the emerald boughs
And the lemons are like the paleness of a lover
Who has spent the night crying.

Nothing. We don't support the values of Thanksgiving.

You don't support being thankful for everything and everyone in your life.
Before we eat we all give pause to reflect on all the good in our lives, we will give thanks for our health and happiness, we will think about those who cannot be with us and about those that are no longer with us. We will ask for peace and contentment for all…

I always make the green bean casserole, so I’ll make that again this year, and I volunteered my DH to make the cornbread dressing. That’s all I know right now.
I'm sorry about your Mom.
First holidays are rough, but I've been told it gets easier as time goes on, this is our 2nd holiday season without my parents.

We are going over to the Portland area to Robs family this year, and I'm taking the Cornbread dressing, my oldest daughter is making my Dads potatoe Salad and bringing that.
I'm not doing much baking this year as I still dont have everything unpacked in my kitchen.
