What exactly is chicken fried steak?
It's usually a steak thats been run through twice (usually called cubed steak) and you dip it in egg, dip it in flour, egg mixture again, dip it in a breading mixture (I use flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, mustard powder) and then fry it in oil and then you use some of the leftover oil from frying and your flour mixture, and a little milk to make a gravy to go over the chicken fried steak and it's delicious.
