https://news.yahoo.com/california-appea ... 40961.htmlA California appeals court rejected Manson family member Leslie Van Houten’s latest bid for release from prison.
In January, a parole board recommended the now-70-year-old Van Houten’s release for a third time. However, California Governor Gavin Newsom denied the parole board’s request in June. That decision was brought to an appeals court Friday, with two of the three appellate judges upholding the governor’s denial.

She should accept the fact that she’s not getting out. The Manson crimes were too heinous and notorious to be forgiven.
Besides, she’s much better off where she is. What will she be coming out to? She’s been in prison for what? Over 40 years? It’s a completely different world. She’s like 70 years old, how will she support herself? Who will want to giver a job, rent her a place?
It’s appalling how many lives that Manson monster destroyed.

She is the only one of the group still in prison though.

Not true. Patricia Krenwinkle and Tex Watson are still in prison. In fact, only one member of the Manson family has been paroled, Steven Grogan. All the rest are either still incarcerated or died in prison.

I guess I should’ve been more specific. No members of the Manson family involved in either the Tate or LaBianca murders has been paroled.
