So if something comes up to vote on and it’s not a middle ground, he’ll vote in favor of the shorter time.
I had to recheck it.
The article says the amendment would bar restrictions on abortions before 24 weeks the age of viability. Presumably abortions could be restricted after 24 weeks. So Trump should have no issue voting for it. He knows no one wants an abortion at nine months unless the mother's life is in immediate danger. If he doesn't, then he should. What most Americans want, including my pro-life mother, is for government to stay out of women's business. But Trump threw in that comment about Democrats wanting abortion up to nine months because it riles up the conservatives. Trust me, if Stormy Daniels had been pregnant by him the man would pay for her to abort in a heartbeat. He's just saying what he thinks people want to hear.
