It is. 4chan was the closest thing to a true freedom of speech website on the surface web. You could really post anything when they first started with no consequences and completely anonymous but then people started using it in a completely inappropriate manner. Then the lawsuits started, the authorities became involved, and the FBI now actively monitors it. It went from a true anonymous/free speech website to a website with rules and constantly needs to work with the authorities.

Some other post anything websites ended up with their owners put in jail. The guy that owned Best Gore ended up in prison in Canada for corrupting the public or something like that (I may have remembered that wrong)

It really isn’t worth owning a free speech website lol.

1. It needs to be self hosted, hosting providers have their own rules.
2. The server should be stored in a server bank in another country. Preferably one that doesn’t relinquish things back to the US
3. Be prepared for a lot of porn, like A LOT of porn lol
4. Understand that the only advertisers who will work with your site are porn websites and other questionable sites.
5. Keep a really good lawyer on retainer and take out a lot of insurance
6. Be prepared for the authorities to get involved

If you want to join a true freedom of speech website then get a tor browser and dig around the deep web. There’s a ton of them there. Surface web websites have to cater to search engines and other rules to avoid being taken down or buried.
Sounds like more work/risk than it’s worth, IMO.

The problem with running any free speech website is that they usually do devolve into porn and obscenities. Some of our top search terms are about porn because people are perverts lol.

Seems fair enough to me. And funny.

Yep, I wish I was kidding. Here are some from the past 3 months. The blue number is how many times it was clicked and led to our site and the purple is how many times it showed in search results.

ETA: this used to be a lot worse. I added blocks on some search terms and I’m going to have some more after seeing pedo confessions.

So I suppose fair is fair.

It's all silly to me and reminds of those exclusive "clubs" so many of us formed when we were in grade school and middle school to keep others out that were felt to be the low-end of school society.
Twitter was very specific on why Trumps Tweets were flagged. Misinformation. Lies.

Do you have specific examples of progressives Tweeting lies or hate without being flagged?
Do you have a Twitter account, Lemons? If so and if....if....you're truly interested, I am sure you can look those up for yourself. Yes?

I am not about to screen shot a bunch of Tweets so you can be convinced (or in YOUR case, argue every single one of them or excuse them).

Plenty of progressives from politicians to celebrities to virtual nobodies like you and I have tweeted things on Twitter that were filled with misinformation, lies, and slanderous.

This sort of social media behavior is not exclusive to one party.
