I believe prostitution should be legal hopefully to get rid of the damned pimps who beat and or attempt to hold their women hostage. If nothing else I believe locking up the women is like locking up an addict-it really does nothing to solve the problem. I'm also pretty anti-death penalty unless we're talking someone like Hannibal Lecter. It's torture and cruel punishment to keep a prisoner on death row as long as we do. It costs us more to execute a criminal than to give him life. With all the appeals many die before they even get to the lethal injection. And free education-is that not what Sanders spoke of? A white Jewish man. Fact is, Bernie wants several of these things. But if it's BLM that's different. I believe some are unrealistic but I wouldn't call these people terrorists either. I think it's a common tactic in negotiation. You shoot for the stars so to speak and then leave room for compromise. You don't go for too low goals or compromise will make them even lower, kwim?Momto2boys973 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 10:12 am I wouldn’t jump to call them “terrorists’, but yeah. That’s an unreasonable list of demands.

I'd rather vote for a cup of five week old coffee over Trump. I felt Sanders was more intelligent than Biden but I didn't like his policies either. My point is half these "demands" were at one time or another said by white people. So I'm not sure why we're negotiating with terrorists. I do agree with you these policies are unrealistic. My understanding of defunding the police is we put more money into social programs, education for the police, helping people in the neighborhoods, preventing crime. I think BLM needs to explain exactly what they mean by police defunding. I would like to see the police treated on an ongoing basis for PTSD and racial profiling. I believe much of their problems come from seeing too much and assuming everyone in a certain situation is a low down bastard. I saw that on one incident involving a policeman and my son, then 11 years old. I don't blame the men and women for being jaded or profiling. but sometimes they are incorrect in their judgments and it has to be addressed.Momto2boys973 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 10:34 am I really have no strong position regarding the death penalty. Sanders really isn’t the epitome of a Jewish man. I actually would’ve voted for Trump if Sanders had been the candidate because of his anti-Istael position and his socialist ideas. I even think that at some level he’s a self-hating Jew. Joseph Lieberman, Mike Bloomberg, those are Jews I can get behind and support. Bernie? Not even a little. I think it’s not viable in America to offer free education and healthcare for all. So I’m not being inconsistent by claiming those demands are unreasonable. I’ve been saying that since Bernie tried for the presidency in 2016.
And defunding the police? Idiotic at best.

Hawk Newsome, the president of Greater New York Black Lives Matter, threatened to "burn down this system" if "the country doesn't give us what we want" in an interview Wednesday with FOX News host Martha MacCallum.Momto2boys973 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 10:12 am I wouldn’t jump to call them “terrorists’, but yeah.
