I think it’s ridiculous that “ Bubba” is still calling it a noose after finding out it was a garage pull. And he doesn’t seem to be able to drop it and move on, like he wanted it to be a noose and is irritated that it wasn’t a noose.

It was a noose. See article posted above. It was also the only garage pull that was fashioned into a noose. It obviously wasn't intended for Wallace as it's been there since October and Wallace wasn't assigned the garage bay until last week but it would have freaked me out too.

No, it wasn’t stupid because it was a noose, it just wasn’t placed there for racist reasons.

It was. It was just a garage pull tied up in a noose.

Yep that looks like a noose to me.
Despite it being a garage pull, it was still fashioned into a noose.
Maybe it was just a coincidence that he got that garage but I can absolutely understand why he’d be freaked out and upset. I’d be freaked out and upset.

I know what you said and I was agreeing with you. It’s not a stupid assumption because it was a noose by definition. It just wasn’t used with racist intent apparently. I think people saying it was a stupid assumption doesn’t understand that.
But it wasn’t stupid for NASCAR or Wallace to assume it was. I would have been WTF about it too and wanted to confirm the reason why it was put there, especially with the current racial tensions and how heated people are about NASCAR’s decision to ban confederate flags.
