The shooting happened at about 2:30 a.m. in the area near downtown known as CHOP, which stands for “Capitol Hill Occupied Protest," police said.
Officers who responded to the shooting initially had trouble getting to the victims because they were "were met by a violent crowd that prevented officers safe access to the victims,” police said on their blog.

The POTUS isn't the only one stoking fires. There are many from both parties who've been fanning flames for several years and with the pandemic and lock downs, people have been coming out of their seclusion with their claws out and gunning for bear.
NOT that I excuse it, either.
I think with this murder in CHOP, their time in taking over what is now alleged to be only a three block area of Seattle has come to an end. Time to go home....wherever that may be....and rejoin (or become) the faction of society that is productive, fighting for changes and reform WITHOUT becoming violent and throwing tantrums worthy of a time-out like a child, and knock this occupation off.
