We are! About being nice, I think our politicians are nicer, but person to person, from my experience the people in the South of the U.S. are very polite and respectful.

I do very much love southern people. My first business trip ever was to Raleigh Durham when I was about 20 years old. I'm a born and raised Chicagoan, so I was completely surprised by how people were down there. It was like a whole new world. If I ever did relocate, it would be South.

Have you ever been to Canada?

I haven't yet but I would really like to. The closest I've gotten is the UP in Michigan!

Good analogy and so true. As a Canadian, I think Trump is doing the right thing, albeit the wrong way. Keep the masks and we will continue to support the U.S. in anyway we can and hope a good recovery for both nations. I am 43. I would have been 8 years old when it came out. However, my husband is a full-time, career Army guy so I have seen both Red Dawn movies. Plus, I like Patrick Swayze!

I graduated high school the year it was released. It had all us southern kids riled up at the time (probably stupid, but it left us thinking). It came out not that much longer after the cold war reports about American cities being targeted for nuclear destruction by the USSR.

We can't ever let them come through Canada or Alaska. We have to work together. We should never trust Putin. I understand keeping your enemies closer, but I don't think POTUS is capable of dealing with someone like him. A KGB agent vs. a Reality TV star...

Some Canadians think we should get rid of it. Both countries have so much to offer each other, we would be stronger together as one.

There is no difference. You just don’t really understand socialism. 3M is a private company. Trump has effectively seized their means of production, that is literally the definition of socialism. The fact that you approve of it because you feel the circumstances justify it doesn’t change what it is.

If you don't see the difference between helping our own first during a crisis and socialism, there's no help.
