On Friday, a new poll from Las Vegas Review-Journal and AARP Nevada was released showing Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in the lead.

The poll, which was conducted between February 11 – 13 by WPA Intelligence and has a margin of error of +/- 4.8%, asked “413 likely caucus attendees” the following question: “If the Democratic caucuses for nomination for U.S. president were held today, for whom would you vote?”

25% of respondents said that they would vote for Sanders. In second place with 18% support was former Vice President Joe Biden. Third place went to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) with 13%. Rounding out the top six were billionaire Tom Steyer with 11%, and Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) tied with 10% each.

It should be noted that 13% of those surveyed were “undecided” or for “other” candidates.

He might just be our next president. Worse things have happened.

I strongly suspect that despite the efforts of the other Democrat candidates and the strange (IMO) candidacy of Bloomberg, that Sanders is going to be the one to go up against President Trump in November.

I do not believe he'll win in the end, however. His socialism agenda and platform might be appealing for some, many of which are between 18 and 29, but far more see it for what is or can become.

"worse things have happened" is a horrible standard. yes, an outbreak of ebola or coronavirus epidemic here might be worse, still doesn't mean it wouldn't utterly devastate us to have an open borders socialist country.

what is your salary?

Gah, I am praying that he is not the democratic nominee. I can't imagine a worse thing if he wins.

I guess you’ll understand better what most Americans felt when Trump was elected by the Midwest.

What do you mean, where do I get my income?
