Yes it’s based on LAW even though he and his fans try to say it’s “A witch hunt”.

Impeachment, in and of itself, is political.

That’s a fact.

The remedy of impeaching/ removing a president is enshrined in the Constitution. It clearly allows Congress to follow this path is the president's behavior is unfit and all the Republican bitching and moaning and calling it a "witch hunt," which is what Trump says about anything he doesn't like, is bullshit. If it wasn't such a serious matter it would be comical to watch Republicans twist themselves into pretzels to defend this horrible man because they care more about being re-elected than about doing the right thing for our country.

Exactly.
It’s a perfectly legal and valid means. If anything, it’s giving Trump the opportunity to defend himself against accusations. He’s refusing to do so and continues bitching about it being a “witch hunt”. So now any person accused of breaking the law can throw that line because investigating and persecuting wrongdoing is a “witch hunt”.

Interesting reads:

https://history.house.gov/Institution/O ... peachment/

https://www.wsj.com/articles/impeachmen ... 1569776731

It might also be interesting to note that Bloomberg News was co-founded by none other than President Trump's latest Democrat opponent....Michael Bloomberg...who apparently is still CEO.

It is political but even the Republicans in the Nixon impeachment knew when they could no longer support him. There comes a time when country has to come before party.
