Did you watch the 2020 Democratic debate last night?

What did you walk away with for key points?
Any moment grab your attention (positive or negative)?

Agreed.

I think Klobacher was right to keep calling out Warren on not admitting her plans will all substantially increase taxes. Sanders too. As crazy as his plans are, he will honestly say there will be a tax hike. But his voting bloc is not in the same bracket as he is so they don’t care how much taxes are raised - when you don’t work and spend your day protesting, no money to be taxed.

I’m sorry.
We are not discussing Republican candidates.

Did you have anything to add to the discussion about the debate between Democrat candidates for President?

Why should we expect to keep more of the money that we earn? 🙄 the government can delegate where it goes the best.

I’ll wait until it’s down to just a few to listen to them. But I’d like to hear about other candidates too, not just democrats.

Why? Do you not understand that there are many of us who are willing to give more to get more? Even if it’s Moore for other people?

How much is too much? How much is too little? Everyone has a different opinion.

One thing I hate is over half of the federal discretionary budget is military spending. We don’t want to be the world’s police but the military budget keeps going up. It’s $150 billion more than it was in 2015. It’s now $716 billion. Medicare for our elderly and disabled is a little less, we spend about $700 billion.
If we could get military spending way down we could expand Medicare.
