Ok. Glad I'm not the only one who realized this.
Maybe you are a better person to help me understand d what I am obviously not realizing...

People are not legally obligated to let everyone attend their event simply because it’s a public building. It has never worked that way and it hasn’t for a reason.
Hey Southern - What's disturbing to me is that the event is promoted as a public event. No where did it say private event. If it did, that's a whole horse of another color.

What's her name is known to be doing those "man in the street" type interviews as a conservative. The left knows who she is and what her views are.

She was not disturbing anyone, was sitting there in a seat, quietly, yet was singled out because the left doesn't agree with her politics. There are plenty of lefties that show up at Republican rallies and scream and disturb. They show up at college assemblies when there's a conservative speaking and scream and shout them down. They're asked to stop. They're not removed simply because someone at the event objects to their very existence. If I recall correctly, Regina Talab did that very thing at a Trump rally before becoming part of Congress.

To me it's akin to discrimination. That's what's disturbing. It starts here. Then who's next? Who decides who's appropriate to attend an event? Things like this tend to creep.
Was this the event?

I don't believe it was. That one specifically says closed to the public. The event in question was specified as a public event.

You don’t seem to comprehend the difference between a government that is democratically elected with social programs for all and a dictator in a socialist country where the government owns everything.

I suggest you learn the difference between successful democratic socialist countries like the Nordic countries, countries that have social democratic parties like Canada, Switzerland and most Western European countries and dictatorships.

It’s embarrassing every time you misuse a word.

Where was it specified as a public event? I'm finding it hard to believe that on a busy campaign trail, Sanders met with the American Federation of Teachers in April more than once at the Lordstown High School?

Capitalism is synonymous with the "democratic" part. Where do you think Bernie and the others will be getting the funding? From our capitalist economy. And these democratic countries' health care for all are not safety nets.

That was the time and date that the "journalist" recorded her encounter at Lordstown High School.

But what would you say ( and I ask this as someone who believes you are a Republican who had a good head in their shoulders so I don’t t mean any snark at all) if there were other conservative reporters there, however this single one from info wars was not allowed because it was believed that she was only going to try causing problems as opposed to asking tough questions like the rest of the conservative reporters were there to do?

No snark taken RR! I'm firmly libertarian actually, and thank you for the nice compliment! :)

Honestly, I think it's a slippery slope to try to weed people out who you think are going to cause trouble or say things you don't like. I might not agree with what you're saying and I might not want to hear it, but I'll defend your right to say it all day long. I think doing things like that are around the corner from censorship.

There's so much of that going on now on social media, with videos being demonitized of certain people, them being accused of hate speech, etc. People expressing a different opinion isn't hate speech. Who's d deciding all of this? It's all subjective.

I just find all of this disconcerting. You start editing one group, then another. It just ruins open discourse. It kills off being able to share ideas. We'll end up only hearing one voice. That's not what our society it's about. These types of things start out small, then tend to snowball quickly.
