I don't watch a lot of stuff..I put it on for background noise, but unless it is football, The Goldbergs, Fresh Off the Boat, or these days Psych ( in season 7 out of 8)..I just don't watch it. I prefer reading non-fiction books than watching docs.
The series is based on two non-fiction books written with first-hand experience of the group.

Jeff Sharlet wrote “The Family” and “C Street,” after living with the group and learning about their goals. The books follow the Fellowship from its founding in 1935 by Abraham Vereide to the recent 2018 National Prayer Breakfast, a ritual they started.

I kind of want to know why you don't watch Netflix too.
I wouldn't even know how to get it! I don't even watch TV, let alone netflix, which I have heard nothing too good about.
Netflix shows movies- academy award winning movies, made for TV movies, documentaries, TV series, children’s shows, etc.
Entertaining, educational...something for everyone.
You have no
TV?
I said I don't watch TV. I do own a TV. We watch movies (DVD's and VHS tapes) for entertainment in the cold months, and sometimes we play video games on it, too. We have DVD's and tapes for the grands to watch if they want to when they visit. The crap they put on TV rots your brain. They don't call it a TV Program for nothing after all.... think about it.
Expand your thinking

It’s possible to disagree with an article and not respond with a personal attack you know.
Try it.

I’ve watched some really good series and movies that you don’t get anywhere else. Spain in particular makes some really good series worth watching.

Why is this in News?

A fictional series based on a book? You should take this to Confessions.

It’s politics- a Christian group working in government behind the scenes - it’s REAL.
Not fiction
