It's still an offense, that's the point. They are not legal. Period.
You said that "criminal undocumented and undocumented are the same". I'm pointing out to you that being undocumented is not a crime. Criminal undocumented and undocumented are not the same. That's where there's a divide.
Removing words still doesn't make it legal if they are not supposed to be here. It doesn't matter if it's criminal or civil. They're not supposed to be here and are subject to deportation.
Both criminal undocumented and undocumented are subject to deportation. But who would you prefer to see deported first?

It matters a great deal when you’re about to destroy lives ...

Me personally? criminal. I'm just saying there are a lot of people who don't distinguish between the two. Illegal = they need to go.

Oh please. The media does enough of the boo hoo bit. The reality is that in almost every city there are offices to help them become legal. They are destroying their own lives based on their choices.

Spoken like someone who truly doesn’t know, and doesn’t work with the people trying to become legal.

Isn’t it odd that the people who don’t work with immigrants think it’s so easy... and the people that do work with immigrants think it’s hard?

There is no path for citizenship for an undocumented immigrant. There is no path for citizenship for a DREAMER. What offices are you talking about?

hehehe - you're funny thinking you know what I do and do not know. Did you hurt yourself with that reach? Seriously, it's not easy. I know it's not easy and it's also not cheap. I don't live with my head in the sand, I've been around the world and like to think I know a little more than those who sit on their ass and thrive on what the media feeds them.

USCIS offices, citizenship lawyers, help centers. Miami has many.

Oh good. So do I... Ive been to 23 countries , lived in three and have been a sponsor for a family to come here to live legally, as well helping my aunt become a sponsor too.

It’s both difficult and expensive, so for people who can’t afford a lawyer and the excessive fees because they work a minimum wage job ( or less ) it’s damn near impossible.
