Expecting higher standards of behavior from elected officials than I do from every random person I meet on the street (virtual or otherwise) is not putting them on a pedestal. I expect my elected officials to have above average judgement, ethics, and decorum. They are people, but there’s a reason we don’t just randomly appoint whoever we stumble across to be in charge of things.

Considering she didn't even get a "like" to her reply, I don't think there's any hypocrisy. There is a very obvious divide between members in this group. You don't have to keep it going. If we can't get along in here how the hell do we expect our government to do any better?
