Political memes belong in the political meme group

Let's talk about memes. Are people actually reporting them?

I understand how it's an issue when it's a thread created with nothing but a nasty political meme and no commentary from the OP. It's meant to be divisive, and it doesn't help the already volatile attitudes. So I get why the Meme board was created and I think it's a great idea.

But lately memes anywhere within a body of a thread are being deleted/recreated on the meme board.

So, to clarify, are memes no longer allowed, ever?

Right. So....does that mean if I post a political meme in the politics group, it's against the rules? Any meme or just political? What if it was open to interpenetration?

Like for instance this one:

Is it political? I don't know. Do we get votes?

Or can we vote on the meme rule because it seems pretty crazy.

1. Yes, they belong in the political memes group

2. An off topic meme or a meme not related to news and politics belongs in our general forum (mom confessions.) A political meme belongs in the political meme group

3. Put it in the political meme group or mom confessions since it can apply to both groups

4. No, we’ve had enough complaints about memes that I already made this decision

Can we post pictures? Seems gifs are allowed but I posted a picture with information about a website and it was deleted. Thanks in advance.
