Do you consider exercise a hobby.
For example I jog. I'm getting ready for a 5k.

Sure.. it can be. I have tons of friends that are triathletes. It is their hobby. They don't play video games or anything else so this is what they do for their fun and relaxation.
It used to be a hobby for me, but now it's to be healthy above all else.

I believe that the definition of hobby is "activity one does in their free time for pleasure". That being so, I would say that exercise definitely counts as a hobby for me personally. For me, the calorie burn and health benefits are fortunate secondary effects of exercise, rather than its primary purpose. I just enjoy working out and I would still do it even if was completely useless.

I play disc golf. It's a hobby where I get in a lot of exercise.
I also do theater as a hobby. I don't get a lot of exercise doing it, usually.

Yes - I like to hike, both for fitness and stress relief. Plus I see some beautiful places and take photos along the way. So it is both exercise and a hobby.

Same with kayaking - there is nothing more relaxing than getting out on the water and drifting along, hearing the birds. But it does take exercise to paddle out, etc.

Whenever we travel I try to include both hiking and paddling during the trips.

No. Not for me. The only reason I see running 5K is if somebody is chasing me. lol.

I used to do pole dancing/fitness and hula hooping.
