Take a small watermelon and trim all the skin off.
Then cut into a perfect square. From that square make 4-6 thick square slices then stack and cut wedges for shishcobobs. Then place in a bowl ( don't break the little squares).
Take a block of Feta cheese and cut the same as the watermelon size.
Take the skewers and start with a piece of basil or parsley then a piece of watermelon, feta, basil. Keep stacking until the skewers are full and with the fresh parsley or basil or use both between them. I use both.
In a bowl drizzle some good thick, basamic vinegar and a little bit of sugar, mix. Then drizzle over the skewers.
They stand up pretty good on a tray, and great for parties.

Another;
Take 5-6 flour tortillas
A block of cream cheese or two.
room temperature,and add 1 -2 teaspoon of DRY ranch seasoning mix. Chopped up scallions,roasted tomatoes (canned,drained) and fresh parsley, or a tiny bit of onion diced ,fine.
Two cloves garlic very fine,add all together, then smooth it on a tortilla. About 1/2 inch thick. Then roll the tortilla very tight. Lay on side and cut 1 inch disks.(like pinwheels) You can make these with cold cuts,meats,cheeses, and other spices too.
Place on tray for appetizers.
You can also do the same thing with cream cheese and apple pie filling or cherry pie filling. I have used marachino cherries chopped up too and a little bit of the juice, Almond extract. You can add nuts if you want some crunch.
Just add tiny bit of almond extract
or any one you like to the cream cheese, or apple pie spices ( taste test mixtures . Roll up and start slicing.
They're a no bake recipe. Sweet or savory, you choose.
