Privilege is shooting at anyone and not being shot by cops.
Privilege is going into a store and not being followed.
Privilege is looking at homes and not being steered to certain neighborhoods.
Privilege is calling cops when someone with a gun is in front of your home and cops actually doing something.

Since a white man shot at cops and was not killed, race plays into it,

The biggest privilege in this country is wealth privilege followed closely to political privilege.

I spent a lot of my childhood in poverty, with parents who received various forms of government assistance. I can tell you for certain, we were not "privileged", unless you have a very loose definition of the word. Was it a privilege to have food on the table? A roof over our heads? Running water? I guess one could argue that. But being relieved that you have basic needs met certainly isn't my idea of "privileged".

No, It was privileged to have to go through all of that AND not be treated as less-than because of your skin color.

Quite an assumption you're making there.
I wasn't discussing skin color, I was discussing the article, taken at face value.

Privilege is being able to sleep without police busting down your door and shooting you.
That whole case still blows my mind.

Privilege is not being shot in your own bed while you are asleep because the cops mistook you for someone they already had in custody.

Privilege is not having your neck kneeled on after passing a (what turned out not to be) fake 20 dollar bill.

Privilege is knowing you can drive your car and not be stopped because you are white. Privilege is not worrying about someone stopping your SUV looking for a stolen motorcycle and pinning your family to the ground.

I could go on.
a lot of that happens to whites too. in fact the same scenario that happen with George floyd also happen to a young sn white man. but it never hit the media.

No doubt all races have experienced police brutality but the things that happen to white people don't happen because they are white. The things that happen to black people happen because they are black. Because cops make snap judgements on a person's skin color.

Which case? That sort of thing happens so often I'm honestly not sure which case you're talking about, which is ridiculous.

Why is everyone skipping over the fact that her car was actually stolen and reported as so earlier in the year?
