We knew they would cancel, I just needed to wait for carnival to do it so we could get the onboard credit. So I’m booking a Hawaiian cruise for sept of 2022!!! Well once carnival releases the bookings
And this year we’re driving to the Grand Canyon. Wohoo. I’m actually looking forward to it

How long will you be there? How long is the drive? You can use roadtrippers to find stops along the way. We love road trips!
We haven’t decided how many days to stay, were coming from Houston so we’re going to go through Amarillo and see the Cadillac ranch and then go to the GC after that. And then depending on our mood swing back through El Paso or go to Carlsbad caverns
Well, it is official. Our river cruise was canceled for October as of 30 minutes ago. We will get 115% towards a new booking because they canceled and not us. We knew it would cancel, we just didn't want to do it and wanted to have them do it so we got the rebooking since it is paid for. They charged the cruise last week and I paid the credit card this morning as the money from the vacation account finally got transferred over. Now, we just have to re-book it for who knows when. It will depend on covid and the EU allowing US citizens for cruises. It's a bummer, but we will find a way to celebrate our anniversary on our anniversary rather than early like we were doing.
