Anyone had a small (not tiny) house built?

My grandmother has land and she’s got a huge house on it. She doesn’t need that and wants to tear the home down and build a small 1-2 bedroom vs the 7 bedrooms she’s got now.

The deal she wants it built offsite and they come and deliver to the land and set it up and tear down the old house.

Anyone gone through something like that? How much hassle is she looking at?

I havent done anything like that, but I’m working towards a tiny house.
Once my youngest has moved out, i’m selling my house, buying a little piece of land to put my tiny house on.
I hope it works out for your grandmother. It seems like a plausible plan.
