How about...
Instead of taking funds away from cops and disbanding them, hire more black cops and put them in black neighborhoods. Then it won’t be racist when the black cop deals with crimes from other blacks.

Black people don't all live in neighborhoods of only black people, black people are allowed to leave their neighborhood, and police brutality can still be caused by black officers.

Wow - I guess OP lives somewhere that "blacks" are confined to certain neighborhoods?

We have had it here in Ontario from police. The police forces across Ontario are well educated and well trained, but still have issues from sexual assaults on duty, to brutality to other crimes from officers of all races.Olioxenfree wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 4:59 pm Black people don't all live in neighborhoods of only black people, black people are allowed to leave their neighborhood, and police brutality can still be caused by black officers.
You think black people don't live anywhere except black neighborhoods? You need to get out more.
You could put black officers in neighborhoods that are predominantly black, but that isn’t going to solve the issue at hand. If police departments would weed out the bad officers and take citizen complaints more seriously and deal with those complaints by getting rid of those officers. And dump the police unions.

It has more to do with the sense of power being a cop gives people. Some people can handle it and some go way overboard.
