My kids and grandkids will gather at our home. Cremation, no services.

Once upon a time I worked for our local humane society as the canine program coordinator and also for our largest Methodist Church as the nursery supervisor.

I'm sure my funeral attendance would have been huge with obligatory attendants.

But since I have quit both jobs and no longer make the front page of the local news, I think I would have very few attendants.

I'd like to think I'd get a good turnout but who knows. Maybe the turnout will be improved if the kids call it the memorial service and roasting of our mother. A comedy roast) They already threatened to get up and discuss the trauma I've supposedly put them through.
