Update on my husbands grandma

She tested positive for coronavirus. She is doing wonderful! She is now breathing on her own. She is awake although exhausted. She is having the little talked about symptoms, the vomiting and diarrhea, but doing so much better. The doctors are worried about what the virus might be doing to her heart but we are hopeful she will pull through.

I just read a store about either a WW1 or WW2 (can't remember which) veteran who survived the Spanish flu outbreak and recovered from Corona. He's 104.
