My ex works 50-70 hours a week. I don't work.

Yesterday the judge ruled that my ex only has to pay based on 40 hours a week.

Before we went to court my ex said he would pay for a my car payment and half my rent.

Now he said since we went to court he will just pay what he has to. He also wants the car back that I have been driving . Its in his name and he wants it back.

The judge told me to get a job....no

What can I do?

Get a job. I'm a SAHM, but if something happened, the first thing I would do is get a job. Do not be a drain on him. You are not married and he is not required to keep you in the lifestyle to which you have become accustomed.. the kids? Sure.. You? Nope. Not at all.

Maybe you can get temporary spousal support. But it is 2020. As mother of two boys I'm saying if they can work so can their wives. My mother certainly started in the early seventies when she had to so can you.

Get a job! He isn't required to pay your rent or car payment. Stand on your own two feet. Team ex and judge.
