Colleges and Universities around us are wanting to go to all online classes the rest of the semester.

Yep. The impact to the community will be hard. This is a college town, a one horse city. It's entire existence is based on the university and those 70k students.
My gut drops reading that. I can't even imagine, overnight, you're done.
They just announced "all" classes online for the rest of the semester. Staff can continue to come in for work, which is good news for a lot of custodial employees. Dining services remains open too. The unknown is still the impact to the community at large since it's an unknown how many students will stay home. I imagine the vast majority have leases thru May so they come back, not all but maybe enough to keep the local economy afloat.
