No liquor in grocery stores...only wine and beer. Stores can sell at 12:30 on Sundays. Liquor stores are open and can sell after 12:30. Restaurants can start selling at 11 am thanks to the new "Brunch law" that passed a couple of years ago. GA has only been allowing alcohol sales since 2011 when over half of the counties in the state voted on the issue and repealed the blue laws.

Ontario was one of the most stuck up areas in Canada when it comes to alcohol, but it is getting better. The drinking age is 19 here, but only 18 just a few minutes across the river in Quebec. The beer and liquor stores strictly enforce the ages but it is hit and miss in the bars.

Bars and clubs are allowed to serve from 9 am to 3 am. The official beer and liquor stores are open from 10 am to 10 pm, except Sunday where they close at 6 pm. Walmart and grocery stores can sell from 9 am to 11 pm, seven days per week.

It seems to go by city here. I can sell alcohol before noon on a Sunday at my job, but if I sub at a location in a city about 20 minutes from me I cannot sell before noon. It's weird. My job doesn't sell liquor during certain overnight times. I think it's 2-6 or somewhere around there but other than being 21 there's no rule against selling unless we suspect a person is intoxicated or under the influence of other drugs.

We also cannot sell if we see a minor picking out the alcohol, or if someone without an I.D. touched it. We have to I.D. everyone who touches it and that applies to other controlled substances like certain OTC things as well.

It varies here. Bars get to set their own hours. But last call at a bar is 2:30 am. All bars and stores aren't allowed to sell alcohol past 2:30 am until 7 am. State regulations. A few stores have a separate area that will have hard liquor, especially in more rural areas. The grocery store near me has a built in liquor store. They are open until 10 pm 7 days a week. The stand alone liquor stores have the option now to be open on Sunday if they want the sales. Which is left up to each individual store owner. 7-11 has locks on the beer/wine coolers they lock up at 2:30.

One time going into staples to buy those dust air cans. The lady told me she almost wasn't going to sell them to me. Because I had Kidlet in tow. Which shocked me. Something to do with teens using them to inhale. I didn't even know it was a thing.

I didn't either until I started working my job and they told us. I didn't even know about half the stuff they make to use drugs until I started working at a pharmacy.

There's a drug called Sleepinal we started restricting and I called it before we ever started restricting it. I knew not that many people had trouble sleeping that they needed to come buy 10-20 at once every day lol. I made a comment that it would more than likely be restricted soon and sure enough it is now because they were cutting illegal drugs with it. Idk if that's a law but it's our policy.

I'm in Ontario Canada, we can buy beer and wine in select grocery stores (FINALLY!!). Liquor still has to be bought at an LCBO, it closes at 10 pm these days. The sales of alcohol are permitted by licensed retailers Monday to Sunday from 9am to 11pm. Bars stay open till 2am. Legal age is 19 in my province.
