Baby powder, wipes, diapers, burp cloths. I can't really think of anything else you would need right now that wasn't already mentioned.

Car seat covers are unsafe and highly unrecommended

Where did I say anything about a carseat cover? I had one, and I only used it when I was taking my son out of the car, and into the cold. You drape it over the carseat until you get inside so they aren't in direct cold...

Wipes, diapers, blankets, diaper cream, baby wash, receiving blankets or burp cloths. And unscented laundry detergent. Aside from what you have and those there isn't really anything else a newborn needs.

A bunch of easy to make meals in the freezer and fridge would be a great idea too.
