No, never. Not here, nor in real life, do I use terms of endearment as a put down to belittle someone.
If I disagree I usually just post about the specific ideas or what I perceive as faulty reasoning. If I notice a poster who resorts to name calling, insults or profanity I just use the "foe" option to avoid their posts. Why bother with someone who can't make a logical case for their point of view?

No, I do not. I don’t even use those as terms of endearment. Well sometimes I refer to my DD as sweetie, but other than that I don’t use them.
