No. There is no need for name calling. It's immature to,do and shows a grasp on understanding the other person's view and your ability to debate.Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2019 10:41 am Do you start calling them sweetie, hon, dear, darling or any other condescending terms in a passive aggressive way?

Not that I recall, I have been known to answer in sarcasm & I have on rare occasion just skipped the passive and gone for aggression, but as whole, I think I am fairly well-behaved.

I do but I always have. Everyone is sweetie, hon, dear, darling, babe etc in real life cause I can't remember names lol.
Worked in a nursing home w 60 clients to help and everyone got called sweetie or darling

I suppose I do, but I don’t take anything that seriously on here. Sometimes HON really pisses someone off. It’s kind of funny. I pretend to disagree when I don’t, just see the reaction.

No, I'll use sweetie when I genuinely feel bad for someone who's having a hard time and they're asking for opinions/advice. I'll shoot back a sarcastic sweetie/darlin/dear if they use it addressing me first though in a condescending manner.
