I've never understood that. I think the substitutes are to ease the meat eaters into a vegetarian lifestyle. As for me, give me a grilled Portobello sandwich instead if I want vegetarian.

They have them at a few restaurants that are not fast food where i live. My hubby wants to try it because he is allergic to red meat. He has tried the Beyond burger and seems to like.
