Could you ever just come to sleep at someone’s house unprepared

I can barely sleep at someone else's house when I have my overnight bag. I like my own space and privacy in my home or at least a hotel room. I can't imagine showing up at another person's house and just flopping there without even a toothbrush.

I know a few people that can just arrive somewhere to stay overnight with the clothes on their back. No overnight bag. No toothbrush. Nothing. They also expect the people to provide pillows and linens.


I could never do that!

I have arrived not planning to spend the night somewhere but it has happened. In that instance I don't have anything because I wasn't planning on staying. However, if it is planned I bring my pillows but if I am spending the night somewhere planned I work it out ahead of time what they would like us to bring.
