I can’t even imagine how much money we would have to be offered for us to agree to move, but in your position, I would definitely be hiring some help. A lot of help.

Not sure if this would work but why doesn’t DH move to the new location in temporary housing (executive rental or extended stay hotel) while you do what you need to do to prep the house for the sale and move. He can also look for your new property without the dire rush that this seems to be. He should negotiate with employer on the cost because this kind of move is a lot to ask. Not the same as just moving households.

yikes. I only have a small dog and 2 kids and moving in that short of an amount of time would be undoable for me

the closest i got to a chaotic move was when hubby came home on a Wednesday evening with a few boxes and said we are moving on Saturday. lol
