I don't think she actually will. It's something she put on FB saying she wanted to post it, but honestly I don't think it's bad for kids to learn.
I agree kids should learn those things. I just think there is a better way to say it. More motivational/positive and less that.

I think its fine. We need to teach life is not sunshine and rainbows. Chances are it will do the same thing as modivationL posters...nothing

Well, what grade does she teach? If we're talking like juniors and seniors, sure. They need to hear this. Third graders? Not so much. This seems really negative for little kids.

ODS is entertaining 5th grade. If I saw that in his teacher’s classroom I’d be going straight to the head of school along with at least 75% of the other parents.

My middle school gym locker room had a similar sign. I'm not scarred for life.
She is too fond of books and it has turned her brain.

I mean maybe crying doesn't solve my problems. But after having one and a plate of brownies I'm ready to solve them. Also if you cry people know somethings wrong and they'll help you. Now if she said whining doesn't solve anything... But all in all this comes across as angry.
