I personally think gauged ears are disgusting. I saw a guy once without his gauges in and he must have had big ones because his ears were F***ing nasty and flopping half way to his shoulders. Actually made me gag.

I'd be absolutely LIVID. Especially at 10 years old! That is wayyyy too young, imo. I may be wrong, but don't ears stay permanently stretched out because of gauges? And doing it without your permission/discussing it with you first??? Hell NO.
SM calling me overly dramatic would prompt me into wanting to show her just how dramatic I can be -- by calling CPS on the assholes.

The first time I saw a person with them , it was on a plane , a guy across the aisle and it was icky looking, IMO
Plus he had tattoos all over his arms and his entire neck and looked twitchy.

Noooooo! They did it all wrong. I have guages and I couldn't imagine going up that quickly! Ouch, poor kiddo. They definitely should have asked you if you were ok with it first. You're definitely not being over dramatic about it. That's not good for your daughter.
