I've been researching different apps/programs such as YNAB and Mint. Do you use these or any others? What do you find to be the best one?
YNAB looks good but not crazy about having to pay a fee.

Paying to budget sounds ridiculous...
Figure how much you bring in a month, then figure out how much in bills you pay out, then decide on an appropriate number to spend on food, and fun.

I just keep track in my head. Using cash helps a lot of people because you can see it dwindling away vs just swiping a card all the time.

It's a loose budget. A set percentage goes to savings and investments each month. There's no strict budget for the rest of it.
