Yes— there is a big wide world out there, ms Snarky.
🙄
But I am curious as to why she mentioned Medicare?
Do they offer Medicare in Australia?
Is it the same as ours?
Then why are you saying it’s different there?
And my point is that Medicare is an authentic entitlement here ...and is it also an entitlement in Australia?
But basically, saying a woman “screamed” is an exaggeration.
Her whole post is an exaggeration and unclear as to their health care.
The OP mentioned Medicare because thats the name of Austrailia's Universal Health Care system. Every Austrailoan citizen gets it regardless of age or income
The name is exactly like ours.
So I was wondering if they offer the same services.
I have Medicare in the USA because I’m over 65. It’s excellent.
No it isnt

You’re wrong and inappropriate.
I can see why you post anonymously!
You’re crude and not playing with a full deck.
She’s far superior to you.

I am not so sure I would have felt this was an entitled (I assume this is what you mean, OP) attitude as much as it is a true anxiety attack and perhaps other mental health issues for this particular woman.

The morning that my husband was discharged after a nine day stay in the hospital last fall for Congestive Heart Failure, a woman next to his room began having a MASSIVE breakdown. You could hear her shoving furniture around, throwing things, and screaming at the top of her lungs that she "only has $8 in my wallet."

Luckily the police/security along with a couple of mental health professional from the hospital jumped in immediately and we assumed, took her over to the wing that houses in-patient rooms for those with mental health problems and if for nothing more, than to evaluate her.

The wing of the hospital my husband was on was the cardiac wing so it was really scary for us to imagine this woman was a patient with some type of cardio issue on top of everything else.

So Im a rude, ugliest nitwit whom everyone is laughing at because I disagree with the notion that Amerca's bersion of Medicare is in in fact not excellent? Meanwhile millions of our countries seniors are going without needed medical.services and meds due to their inability to pay......Ok that makes sense

You do realize that there is a whole world out there outside of the US right? She already said she lives in Australia. Healthcare is different there.

Interesting! They can get it before they’re 65?
Nice!
