OP already came up with 140 dollars to take her own children to the movies. She shouldn't have to come up with any more......Btw would you pay 178 dollars to pay for other people to go to the movie
We saw the movie without them when she couldnt pay for tickets

I wouldn't even try to come up with an extra $140. Even if i had the money i wouldn't pay that for someone else's kids to see a movie.

This situation was crazy awkward.
I just feel bad that families cannot go to the movies on occasion, because of the crazy prices!

I was thinking the same thing. We pre-order and pay for the tickets in advance. You can pay ar the window but you arent guaranteed seats together.

I don't do that because it is nearly a $4 fee per ticket to get them online in advance.Sassy762 wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 8:59 am I was thinking the same thing. We pre-order and pay for the tickets in advance. You can pay ar the window but you arent guaranteed seats together.

JFC......where do you live? I thought 20-22 for a child and 25-28 for an adult was bad, lol
