I’d be ticked to be separated from my planned travel partner with the snacks especially if there was no valid reason for it but power trip by a teacher. It’s normally not hard to accommodate friends sitting together. It’s okay to vent about it but hopefully not constantly whine.

I would call her and tell her that she is entitled to her feelings of being upset that she's on the other bus, but this is not a major problem and she better stop bothering her teacher and whining at him if she expects to be allowed to go on a date with her boyfriend or anywhere else anytime soon. You behave like a toddler, you get treated like a toddler.
