Trophy wife?

I’ve had people call me a trophy wife, gold digger etc because I’m 12 years younger than my dh and he makes good money (low 6 figures) and stay home. Idc what people think. I love my dh and he loves me. He does come with some good perks tho!

Jokingly, no big deal. If he was serious I’d find it insulting. I generally think of trophy wife to mean someone young dumb and pretty. And it’s not love so much as someone to look good on his arm at functions.

His role in the relationship is to be her sugar daddy and provide her with power and material wealth. Hers, beyond providing S*x, is to remind others that he is powerful or rich enough to be desirable to such a woman despite his age and thus to serve as a marker of this status -- hence the "trophy" part. A specialized type of gold digger.
