I ripped her for taking her two mentally, drugged up psychotic kids to Mexico against the psychiatrists orders first though.

Why would they be in danger? It's Cancun which as I recall (and this was two decades ago mind) it was like fort Lauderdale. Full of tourists, Americanized, and the only danger was from aggressive time share sellers.
