No it's not. For instance, if you're having pain in your stomach, you know it. If your liver is swollen, you know it because there'll be pressure against your ribcage. If you're having problems with your colon, you'll know it because of the location of the pain. Ditto if you're dealing with ovarian cysts. That's pretty much how doctors make initial diagnoses by the location of the pain. And the type of pain and location leads to additional tests.

You’re right.
Years ago I had pain in my upper right abdomen and shoulder. I suspected it was my gall bladder and it was. My doctor said it was gall bladder colic . Very very painful.
I think everyone with just a basic knowledge of anatomy knows where their organs are located .
