How would you clean this dress?

My DD wore a dress for Easter. It has a white satin under layer with pastel Tulle over and a small petticoat thing underneath so it kind of poofs out. Kid spilled Kool-aid (Or something red) on it. The tag says machine wash cold gentle cycle. I don't want to destroy the dress as she wants to wear it for the school spring fling on the 10th of May.

It's basically this dress just in pastel colored Tulle and floor length.

How would you clean it?

As the tag says? Dry Clean? Try to just spot clean it?

I would clean it as the tag says and pretreat the stain with either Shout or a Tide pen. Just make sure you test either on a small non noticeable spot on the dress in case it reacts badly with the fabric.

I would take it to the dry cleaners where it would be dry cleaned.
Don't text while driving. Don''t text while stopped at stop signs and traffic lights. You're not a four year old...exercise some self-control.

I would tackle the stain with cold water first, blot it with a towel on top, then one underneath.

If it remained I would take a bit of diluted dishwashing soap and do the same thing. If it remains, I would try the soap with vinegar.

If that fails, I get rubbing alcohol, if that fails, I throw it on delicate in the laundry with all the rest of the clothes. If that fails, I call it a lost cause.

Been there. The biggest thing in my opinion, is tackle stains ASAP.

Honestly Id take it to the dry cleaners. It will not come out of the wash looking as nice as when it went in. Not to mention Kool Aid is a bitch to get out in the wash.
