She made it to 14. She is a really good young teen compared to others. Now to get my 11 year old through the summer. One of us just might not make it.hugs wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 4:39 pm14 already?Linda_Runs wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 9:00 am My kids are not adults yet. My oldest is 14 now, so that makes her a young adult (most days) and for my 11 year old, she might make it to an adult, but let's just get through the summer first - LOL!
Good luck

I really wasn't sure what to expect when my daughter entered the teen years. So far, it's been uneventful(knock on wood).Linda_Runs wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 7:45 amMy oldest is 14 now. So far not as bad a year as I was prepared for.

Me either. It seems like she 'played out' her behavioural shenanigans in her preteen and tween years. I just have one more to go through that and I should be safe.Inmybizz wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 8:11 amI really wasn't sure what to expect when my daughter entered the teen years. Mine has always been just very chilled, rule follower, focused on school. I almost want her to get into some shenanigans..lol!!Linda_Runs wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 8:24 amMe either. I think getting into some trouble is part of trying new and adventurous things. My 14 year old is very far from chill. She has many of my personality traits. She is a rule breaker and a leader among her friends circle. She is an honour roll student and very well behaved when out at other people's homes. At home though - look out!Inmybizz wrote: ↑Sat Jul 13, 2019 8:30 amMine has always been just very chilled, rule follower, focused on school.
