I wouldn't be surprised to find out that IDF had warning in days leading up to the attack, but sat on their hands because they knew it was a convenient excuse to invade Gaza and eliminate the Palestinians living there. There were Israeli Settlement plans/brochures released by real estate companies days after the attack planning new housing in Gaza for Israeli's....Meanwhile they've kept increasing the number of Israeli Settlements in the West Bank.
